Welcome to the web site of the ACT Small Ford Owners Club (ASFOC).  A small club with an average of thirty dedicated members, who are passionate about the small ford marques.

The Club was founded in January 2000 by Paul Meeson (Escort Mk1), Bill Hempstead (Escort Mk1)who provided support and encouragement in getting the club started and Allan Caldwell (Capri Mk1)who made sure the books where kept in order.

The Goal of the club is to unite all the small ford owners  in Canberra and that makes the type of cars that we accept into the club quite broad.   Canberra has a fairly small population compared to Sydney so we want to support all the small ford owners  in our region.   Therefore we support standard, mildly modified and right up to wildly modified.

We know that each small ford owner can bring a wide variety of knowledge into the club in respect to the modifications or restoration that they have performed on their vehicles and this in turn benefits the club and its members.

The club operates for ten months in each year and we provide events throughout the year. The types of events we have held are Skid Pan Day, Observations Runs, Country Cruises, Economy Runs, The Capri Convertible Convercation Day and Family BBQ's.  We are affiliated with the ACT Council of Motor Clubs which allows us to provide Concessional Registration (CRS) for the ACT -based vehicles.

Membership currently stands at $30.00.  See Forms Tab for our Membership Form. We also have Associate membership for family immediate members at the same address.

The Council of ACT Motor Clubs is proud to announce that their brand new website is now up and running (click logo above).

The Council represents 50 motoring clubs in Canberra and aims to advance the cause of all motoring enthusiasts.  The Council provides and advocacy role for stakeholders, promotes an interest in motoring and good driving and road safety.

The Council also co-manages the Concessional Registration Scheme (CRS) with the ACT Government to enable vehicles more than 30 years old to be registered at a concessional rate under specific conditions.

The Council invites all motor clubs to visit the new website and confirm current contact details & provide information on any major motoring events for inclusion in the events calendar.  The Council also welcomes any suggestions or improvements to the new website.
